The fine print.
Every kingdom keeps a book of statutes. This is ours — the plain-language version, free of thickets, covering what you agree to, where our post rides, and what we do (and never do) with your information.
Terms of service.
Placing an order with King of K is a short handshake with a few firm clauses. Here they are, in the order they matter.
- Twenty-one and older, full stop. By ordering, you affirm you are at least 21 years of age. No exceptions, no negotiations, no clever nephews.
- Botanical products, no claims attached. Our products are botanical goods — leaf of mitragyna speciosa, milled or encapsulated — sold for lawful purposes. We make no claims about what they do; we tell you only what they are and where they grew.
- Your law is your charge. Kratom's legal standing varies by state, county, and city. It is your responsibility to know the law where you live before you order. Placing an order is your affirmation that receiving it is lawful at your address.
- The King's Oath. Every pouch is guaranteed for thirty days, counted from the day of delivery. If the leaf does not earn your loyalty — opened, half-used, or otherwise — write to the court and the treasury refunds the product's price to your original payment method. No tribunal, no interrogation. Original shipping fees, where charged, stay spent. The Oath is a promise, not a subscription plan; the house may retire it for accounts that treat it as one.
- Refusals and cancellations. We may refuse or cancel any order addressed to a restricted jurisdiction or placed in apparent breach of these terms. Cancelled orders are refunded in full.
- Prices. All prices are in U.S. dollars. The catalog and its prices may change at any time — but never on an order already placed.
Where the post does not ride.
Some jurisdictions have restricted or prohibited mitragyna speciosa, and the King honors borders. We do not ship to any state, county, or city where the leaf is restricted. As of this writing, that includes the following states:
- Alabama
- Arkansas
- Indiana
- Rhode Island
- Vermont
- Wisconsin
Certain municipalities have also enacted ordinances of their own — by way of example and not an exhaustive census: San Diego, California; Sarasota County, Florida; and Jerseyville, Illinois. Orders addressed to a restricted jurisdiction will be cancelled and refunded in full before dispatch.
Laws change faster than websites. This list reflects our best current understanding; it is not legal advice, and it may lag behind a statehouse's latest session. Verify the current law of your own state, county, and city before ordering. When in doubt, consult your local authorities first and the court second.
How the parcel travels.
Orders placed before 3 PM Mountain Time on a business day leave the keep the same day. Orders placed after the bell, or on weekends and holidays, ride out the next business day.
- Carriers. Parcels travel with USPS or UPS, chosen by weight, destination, and whichever rider is swiftest that week. Every order ships with tracking, delivered to your inbox at dispatch.
- Free royal post. Orders of $75 or more ship free. Below that, carriage is calculated at checkout by weight and destination — we charge what the courier charges us, and no surprises at the drawbridge.
- Discreet packaging. Every order travels in a plain outer box or padded mailer under an unremarkable business name. No crowns, no leaves, no product names on the exterior. What is inside the parcel is between you, us, and no one on your porch.
- Lost parcels. If tracking goes quiet for ten business days, or a parcel is marked delivered while your doorstep swears otherwise, write to the court within thirty days of the ship date. We will open a trace with the carrier and — once it concludes, or after ten further business days, whichever comes first — reship the order or refund it in full, at your choosing. One replacement per order; the treasury is generous, not gullible.
What we keep in confidence.
The court keeps a small ledger and guards it closely. In plain speech:
- What we collect. Your name, shipping address, email address, and order history — the minimum required to move a parcel from our keep to your door and answer your letters. Card payments are handled entirely by our payment processor; the full card number never touches our servers or our eyes.
- What we never do. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise barter your information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. The register of the court is not for sale. Your details are shared only with the carrier who delivers your parcel and the processor who handles your payment — and only as far as needed to do those jobs.
- Cookies and local storage. Your browser holds two small things on our behalf: the contents of your cart and your age-verification answer, so the vault remembers you between visits. We run no third-party advertising trackers.
- Missives. We email you about your order, always. We email you about anything else only if you enrolled in the Court Register — and every missive carries a working unsubscribe.
- Your requests. Want to see what the ledger holds on you, or have it struck? Write to the court and the scribes will oblige.
The required words.
The crown speaks plainly everywhere else on this site. Here, it speaks exactly as the law requires:
